SHORELINE RENTALS - GENERAL TERMS

These are the general terms of hiring a stand-up paddleboard with Shoreline Rentals. However the full Terms & Conditions of SUP Hire are set out below and these supersede the general terms.
-
Stand-up paddleboards and equipment can only be hired from Shoreline Rentals on completion of a Rental Agreement or by accepting our hire conditions on our online booking portal along with credit card details, before the hire period.
-
Shoreline Rentals are not responsible for injury or damages caused to/by the client during the hire period.
-
A fine will be incurred by the hiree in the event of a late return of hired board (details of which are set out below).
-
THE PADDLEBOARDS ARE NOT INSURED. The hiree is fully responsible for incidental theft or failure to return a board.
-
All come with transport bag, dual-action pump, 3-piece adjustable SUP paddle, and 10" removable aero center fin. Any items not returned, including beach gear rentals (towels, coolers, dry bags, etc) will incur a charge per item not returned. Final charge will be the actual replacement cost + shipping.
-
Age limits for paddleboards are 18 and over, or 13 and older with an accompanying parent or legal guardian per teen. You may not have a child ride on a SUP with you. They are a one person craft. Remember that Paddleboards are a single occupancy craft and should be used based on the manufacturer’s recommendations. They are not made for two people.
-
All SUPs are presented in immaculate working order set up by our professional team, and, whilst Shoreline Rentals accept general wear and tear during hire, any board returned that requires excessive cleaning will result in a repair & cleaning fee charge to the client. Repair and cleaning fees may be applied to damaged or severely soiled equipment, up to and including full replacement cost. Salty lifejackets and a little sand or gravel on the boards is not considered 'severely soiled'. Muddy equipment, or sunscreen-stained lifejackets would be one example of severely soiled.
-
Theft and damage caused to any board will be charged to the hiree. This cost will amount to the loss incurred to Shoreline Rentals, and not the retail value of any board part or board.
-
Full payment must be made at time of booking and only fully refundable 7 days prior to the hire period.
-
Cancellations within 2 days prior to hire or “no shows” are charged at the full hire price.
-
Shoreline Rentals shall have no liability to you if we are unable to fulfill a Booking due to an event of Force Majeure. In the event of Shoreline Rentals being unable to fulfill your booking our liability to you shall not exceed to the agreed cost of the hire. In cases of Force Majeure/Acts of God cancellations will not be permitted but it will be possible to reschedule any booking to a later date.
